Crime & the City Solution's third line-up played their final show together in December of 1986. The band then transitioned into its fourth line-up in 1987, no longer including Rowland S. Howard, Harry Howard or Epic Soundtracks. The three ex-members instead went on to form These Immortal Souls, with the addition of Genevieve McGuckin on keyboards.
