Nick Cave isn't a creature entirely of his own invention. He's had collaborators on the way who have contributed to the canvas we recognize as NicK Cave today. Rowland S Howard was a Birthday Party contributor. The title of the album is a bit of a clue to the musical content, dramatic in a dark kind of way. Stark images carefully and deliberately scrawled over slow motion musical landscapes. If you've walked into this world by accident, be afraid.
